Tool Beast Returns and Refunds Policy

Welcome to Tool Beast! We stand behind the quality of our products and want to ensure that your experience with us is smooth and hassle-free. This Returns and Refunds Policy outlines your rights and our obligations under applicable Canadian federal and Ontario provincial laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario).

1. Returns

Eligibility for Returns

You may return eligible power tools, accessories, or related products purchased from Tool Beast within 30 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused, in new condition, and in original packaging (including manuals and accessories).
  • You have proof of purchase, such as an order confirmation or receipt.

Items returned that do not meet these conditions may be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and regulatory reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless defective:

  • Gas-powered or fuel-operated tools that have been used or filled
  • Consumables, such as drill bits, saw blades, and abrasives
  • Customized orders or special-order products
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance
  • Gift cards and digital downloads

2. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos (if applicable)

We’ll work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item at no additional cost. Tool Beast complies with all applicable warranty obligations under Canadian law and with manufacturers’ warranties.

3. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of your refund status. If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment within 5–10 business days.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a damaged, defective, or incorrect item.

Tool Beast reserves the right to refuse a return or refund if the returned item is used, damaged by the customer, or missing components.

4. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for the same item if it arrives defective or damaged, or if the incorrect product was sent. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

To initiate an exchange, please contact our support team before returning your item.

5. Order Cancellations & Non-Delivery

You may cancel your order prior to shipping by contacting us immediately. Once your order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled but may be returned under this policy.

If your package is marked as delivered but not received, please report it within 5 business days. We may require a carrier investigation before issuing a resolution.

6. Your Legal Rights

This policy is designed in accordance with:

  • The Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) – including rights related to remote agreements and misrepresentation
  • The Competition Act (Canada) – prohibiting false or misleading refund claims
  • The Canada Consumer Product Safety Act – ensuring the safe handling of returned goods

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under Canadian or Ontario law.
